Spot Pure Nickel Premiums Stopped Falling and Stabilised with Improving Market Transactions

SHFE nickel was high today, while spot pure nickel premiums stopped falling and stabilised thanks to improving market transactions recently.

SHANGHAI, Sep 29 (SMM) – In the spot market, Jinchuan nickel was in premiums of 6,000-6,500 yuan/mt, with an average of 6,250 yuan/mt, up 1,150 yuan/mt from a day ago. NORNICKEL nickel was in premiums of 1,700-1,900 yuan/mt, with an average of 1,800 yuan/mt, up 50 yuan/mt on a daily basis. SHFE nickel was high today, while spot pure nickel premiums stopped falling and stabilised thanks to improving market transactions recently. Nickel briquette prices stood at 184,500-185,500 yuan/mt, up 2,800 yuan/mt from a day ago. The cost efficiency of briquette was still extremely, resulting in few successful trades.
