SHANGHAI, May 31 (SMM) - Due to the decline in the price of tricobalt tetraoxide and falling demand for mobile phones, notebook computers and tablet computers, the price of lithium cobalt oxide fell. SMM data shows that the prices of lithium cobalt oxide (60%, 4.4V/domestic) were 518,000-528,000 yuan/mt last week, and the average price fell by 20,500 yuan/mt from the previous week. SMM predicts that with the improvement of the domestic pandemic situation in June, the operating rate of electronics manufacturers may increase, and the price of lithium cobalt oxide will stabilise or fall at a slower pace.
