Prospect of the Next Generation Integrated Die-Casting Industry Based on the Development Trend of New Energy Vehicles

SHANGHAI, Sep 28 (SMM) - At the Automotive New Materials Summit Forum in the Fourth Quarter of 2022—Automotive Large Integrated Die-Casting Industry Development Forum, Tang Rensong, assistant general manager of Ningbo LK Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the current integrated die-casting unit products and their practical applications in detail. At the same time, he expressed his views on the prospect of the next generation integrated die-casting industry based on the development trend of new energy vehicles.
LK Large Die-Casting Machines

At present, the integrated die-casting machines include IMPRESS-PLUS series 6000T, 7000T, 8000T three-plate die-casting machines and DREAMPRESS series ≥9000T direct die-casting machines.

The new generation hydraulic system of the LK large die-casting machine has the advantages of high-speed response, real-time control of pressure and speed, air injection velocity >12m/s, optimised hydraulic circuit to minimise pressure loss and integrated design for maintenance.

Moreover, LK large die-casting machines have been widely used in actual production and have been recognised by customers.

Prospect of the next generation integrated die-casting industry based on the development trend of new energy vehicles

According to statistics, since 2009, new energy vehicles have experienced a policy-driven growth period, and now a market-driven rapid growth period, and will boom in the future.

In this context, the integrated die-casting industry has also begun yearly updates since 2019. In the future, the integrated die-casting of the chassis of cars may become the main direction of the next-generation integrated die-casting industry.

According to the data, it is estimated that from 2021 to 2026, the market scale of domestic wire-controlled chassis will be 14.5-57.5 billion yuan, and that of the international wire-controlled chassis will be 44.7-152.8 billion yuan. The wire-controlled chassis system accounts for 30% of the vehicle cost, and the market is promising.
