Anhui Meixin Aluminum Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Anhui Zhongji Battery foil Technology Co., Ltd., was founded in 2011 and was wholly acquired by Jiangsu China Matrix Composites Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Wanshun New Materials (Stock Code: 300057) in 2017. The expansion project with an annual capacity of 72000 tons of battery foil was launched in August 2018 to create the world's first professional factory of positive foil and aluminum foil for aluminum and plastic film. The project has a total investment of 1.42 billion yuan and is carried out in two phases. the first phase of the project has been put into production in the fourth quarter of 21, with an annual production capacity of 42000 tons. The second phase of the project is scheduled to be put into production in the first quarter of 23, reaching the capacity target of 72000 tons after completion. The project is equipped with 8 aluminum foil mill production lines and main supporting equipment from Germany, Italy and other countries, and has the highest installed level in the world. All the major equipment has been improved in depth according to the characteristics of the target products. In November 2021, Anhui Meixin changed its name to Anhui Zhongji Battery foil Technology Co., Ltd. The company absorbs a wide range of industry professionals, combined with Jiangsu Zhongji's existing high-level talent reserve, to create a professional technology, production and management team. The full completion of the project in 2025 will become the world's largest professional factory of positive foil and aluminum foil for aluminum plastic film and a world-class supplier of automotive specification grade aluminum foil.
