MIIT: The Output of Lithium-ion Batteries from January to August Stood at 14.60 Billion, up 38.7% YoY

The output of lithium-ion batteries stood at 14.60 billion, up 38.7% YoY

SHANGHAI, Oct 25 (SMM) – MIIT released the economic performance of the battery industry in January-August 2021.

The output of lithium-ion batteries stood at 14.60 billion, up 38.7% YoY; The output of lead-acid batteries was 155.187 million kVAh, up 18.7% YoY; The output of primary cells and primary battery packs (non-button type) recorded 27.57 billion, up 7.2% YoY.
