China Rebar Inventory Up 0.6% from Sep 30

SHANGHAI, Oct 8 (SMM) – Inventories of rebar across Chinese steelmakers and social warehouses stood at 8.75 million mt as of October 8, up 56,100 mt or 0.6% from a week ago. Stocks are down 2.58 million mt or 22.8% from a year earlier.

Inventories at Chinese steel makers decreased 9,200 mt or 0.4% from a week earlier to 2.41 million mt. Stocks are 1.13 million mt or 32% lower than the same period last year.

Inventories at social warehouses increased 65,300 mt or 1.04% on the week and stood at 6.34 million mt, down 1.45 million mt or 18.6% from a year ago.
