South Korea plans to impose anti-dumping duty on stainless steel imports with a tax rate of 7.17-25.82% within five years.

According to recent reports, South Korea has issued the final decision of anti-dumping investigation into stainless steel flat wood made in China, Indonesia and Taiwan, pointing out that the Trade Commission has proposed to impose anti-dumping duties of 7.17-25.82% over the next five years.

Previous historical trade rulings:

On September 17, 2020, the Korean Trade Commission issued case notice No. 23-2020-3, saying that upon the application submitted by South Korean domestic enterprises, an anti-dumping investigation was launched against stainless steel coil imported from China, Indonesia and Taiwan.

On February 18, 2021, the Korean Trade Commission issued Resolution No. 2021-3 of Relief investigation No. 23-2020-3, which made a preliminary anti-dumping determination on stainless steel coils originating in mainland China, Indonesia and Taiwan.
