Bet on a future BYD 500 million yuan to build Fudi Industries.

A few days ago, BYD officially established Fudi Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Fudi Industry). According to the information released by the enterprise, Fudi Industrial is a wholly owned subsidiary of BYD Co., Ltd., established on December 11, 2020, with a registered capital of 500 million yuan, and the legal representative is he long, the boss of the Fudi family and chairman of the Fudi brand. In terms of business scope, Fudi Industries' business includes goods import and export, technology import and export, battery manufacturing, battery sales, artificial intelligence application software development and so on.

In the past two years, Fudi has become an important layout of BYD in the field of new energy. According to public data, in December last year, BYD invested in three Fudi subsidiaries in two days, namely, Fudi Mould Co., Ltd., Fudi Technology Co., Ltd., and Fudi Power Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 100 million yuan.

In March this year, BYD officially announced that in order to further speed up the external cooperation of core components of new energy, an independent Fudi brand was officially launched, and the number of Fudi companies was expanded to five (on the basis of the original three, two more Fudi companies were officially announced, namely Fudi Battery Co., Ltd. And Fudi Vision Co., Ltd.). From all kinds of stamping moulds, plastic moulds and other parts and their related design, development, manufacturing, debugging, maintenance and technical consulting services to electronics and chassis technology to power components, batteries and lighting systems, Fudi enterprises have opened up a complete automotive R & D and production industry chain.

Compared with the relatively closed vertical ecology of vehicle enterprises before, Fudi enterprises pay more attention to openness and tolerance, supporting not only the parent company BYD, but also other major mainframe factories. at present, traditional car companies such as Great Wall, Changan, Dongfeng and Chery, as well as new car-building forces such as Lulai and Xiaopeng, have all cooperated with Fudi enterprises. Obviously, outside the whole vehicle field, BYD has shifted its strategic vision to the field of spare parts, better turning its accumulated technological advantages into profit advantages, and creating a new level of growth for the enterprise. this is not only the original intention of BYD to build the Fudi brand, but also BYD's substantive exploration for the future.
