Inventories of aluminium billet in China increased this week due to increased arrivals.

SHANGHAI, Nov 5 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China increased this week due to increased arrivals.


SMM data showed that aluminium billet stocks across the five major consumption areas — Foshan, Wuxi, Huzhou, Changzhou and Nanchang — in China built up 4,400 mt from a week ago to 94,500 mt as of Thursday November 5.


Inventories in Foshan, Changzhou and Nanchang accumulated week on week, and stocks in Huzhou remained unchanged, while stocks in Wuxi declined slightly, with Foshan rose the most.
