SHANGHAI, Jul 9 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China declined this week due to a rise in shipments from warehouses in east China.
SMM data showed that stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across the five major consumption areas – Foshan, Wuxi, Huzhou, Changzhou and Nanchang – in China edged down 900 mt from a week ago to 72,300 mt as of Thursday July 9, after a build of 6,900 mt in the previous week.
Inventories in Wuxi, Changzhou and Nanchang fell week on week, while stocks in Foshan and Huzhou accumulated, with Foshan saw a bigger rebound.
