Secondary lead smelters operating rates rose to 56.3% this week

Operating rates across licensed smelters of secondary lead in Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan and Guizhou averaged 56.3% in the week ended October 23, up 1.1 percentage points from the previous week, showed an SMM survey.

SHANGHAI, Oct 23 (SMM) – Operating rates across licensed smelters of secondary lead in Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan and Guizhou averaged 56.3% in the week ended October 23, up 1.1 percentage points from the previous week, showed an SMM survey.

 

The average operating rates in Anhui and Jiangsu remained unchanged at 50% and 53.3% respectively.

 

The average operating rate in Henan lost 2.8 percentage points to 76.8% as Henan Jinli overhauled a new production line due to its instability.

 

Recovery of Guizhou Sanhe from maintenance and stepped-up production at Guizhou Jinlong after technology upgrading lifted the average operating rate by 9.5 percentage points to 53.6%.
