Aluminium billet inventories fell 11,600 mt on week on smaller arrivals

Inventories of aluminium billet in China decreased this week due to a decline in arrivals at warehouses.

SHANGHAI, Oct 22 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China decreased this week due to a decline in arrivals at warehouses.

 

SMM data showed that aluminium billet stocks across the five major consumption areas — Foshan, Wuxi, Huzhou, Changzhou and Nanchang — in China fell 11,600 mt from last Friday to 90,900 mt as of October 22.

 

Inventories in Foshan, Changzhou, and Nanchang declined week on week, stocks in Huzhou remained unchanged while inventories in Wuxi rose slightly. Stocks in Foshan fell the most.
