SMM News: recently, we learned from Tesla that Tesla charging stations along National Highway 318 have been opened one after another, marking that Tesla has successfully opened the charging route from Chengdu to Lhasa. The line covers a total of about 2011 kilometers, with a total of 2 super charging stations and 11 destination charging stations, with an average of one for every 154km. The dense charging stations bring users freer route planning.

The opening of the charging line marks a long journey by electric car will become a reality. It is worth mentioning that Tesley fully takes into account the road conditions, elevation, hotel and the distribution of the beautiful scenery along the way. the 13 charging stations will be built successively in Chengdu, Ya'an, Kangding, Xindu Bridge, Litang, Batang, Mangkang, Zuogong, Basu, Bomi, Lulang, Gongbujiangda and Lhasa. Different sites have different living service facilities to provide all-round support for users on their way to Tibet.

Tesla has already opened the charging route from Shanghai to Chengdu. Now, after the Chengdu-Lhasa charging route is opened, users can drive Tesla from Shanghai in eastern China to Lhasa in western China across 5000 kilometers. Complete the feat of "driving an electric car across China". In addition, not only from Chengdu to Tibet, Tesla has a wide range of charging networks on several popular routes, which can support users to complete ultra-long-distance self-driving from Harbin to Sanya, Beijing to Shanghai and Lanzhou to Shenzhen. Up to now, Tesla charging network distributes 150 + cities in China, spanning east-west and north-south, laying the foundation for users' daily worry-free travel.

In addition, Tesla plans to deploy more than 4000 super-charging piles in China, double the total construction in the past five years. At the same time, the construction of Tesla V3 super charging pile in major cities is also accelerating. 15 minutes of V3 super charging pile can supplement the mileage of more than 200km, significantly shorten the average charging time, and further improve the operational efficiency of the super charging network.

Editor's comments:

Tesla also created the concept of "non-inductive charging" in the Chinese market, allowing users to choose different charging methods according to different travel scenarios. In urban life, users' high-frequency travel scenes are shopping malls, office buildings, and scenic spots around the city. In these scenes, Tesla arranged a large number of super charging stations and destination charging stations to further improve the charging convenience of the city. In long-distance travel, users can choose the super charging stations near the highway to replenish electricity quickly, and the charging stations along the line usually have restaurants, supermarkets, bathrooms and other facilities to facilitate users to stop and have a rest. The omni-directional "non-inductive charging" experience eliminates users' charging anxiety.
