Inventories of aluminium billet in China declined 3,800 mt on week

SMM data showed that stocks of aluminium billet across the five major consumption areas – Foshan, Wuxi, Huzhou, Changzhou and Nanchang – in China shrank 3,800 mt from a week ago to 56,200 mt as of Thursday August 27.

SHANGHAI, Aug 27 (SMM) – SMM data showed that stocks of aluminium billet across the five major consumption areas – Foshan, Wuxi, Huzhou, Changzhou and Nanchang – in China shrank 3,800 mt from a week ago to 56,200 mt as of Thursday August 27.

Inventories in Wuxi, Huzhou and Nanchang fell week on week, with Nanchang saw a bigger decline, while stocks in Foshan rose slightly. Stocks in Changzhou were unchanged on the week.
