SHANGHAI, August 14 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal in China edged higher this week as in-plant stocks were shipped to social warehouses.
SMM data showed that stocks across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port stood at 58,000 mt as of Friday August 14, 2,000 mt higher from a week ago.
Stocks at Huangpu and Tianjin ports were unchanged on week as cargoes were shipped away upon arriving. Meanwhile, inventories in Yunnan Kunming continued to build up in a wet season.
