Aluminium billet inventories rebounded 6,900 mt from last Wednesday

Inventories of aluminium billet in China rose this week due to increased arrivals.

SHANGHAI, Jul 2 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China rose this week due to increased arrivals.

 

SMM data showed that stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across the five major consumption areas – Foshan, Wuxi, Huzhou, Changzhou and Nanchang – in China increased 6,900 mt from Wednesday June 24 to 73,200 mt as of Thursday July 2, after a decline of 5,200 mt in the previous week.

                         

Inventories in Foshan continued to fall, while those in the other four regions built up.
