At 05:30 on June 26th, the blast furnace body of the No. 7 blast furnace optimization and upgrading project began to fill the opening charge, indicating that the ignition target of the No. 7 blast furnace optimization and upgrading project has entered the countdown state.

The blast furnace is opened with sleepers. According to the requirements of the opening process, the hearth, waist and body of the blast furnace are filled with sleepers, clean coke, empty material and normal material in 11 sections respectively.

In order to complete the task of filling and opening charge safely, high quality and high efficiency, the project department of No. 7 blast furnace overhaul project formulates "No. 7 blast furnace sleeper filling scheme" and "No. 7 blast furnace charging scheme" according to blast furnace production technology, technical requirements, combined with opening charge, raw fuel of Jiuquan Iron and Steel Co. In order to ensure the orderly connection of the charging, the project department is responsible to the person, arranging a special person to strictly monitor and control the charging process, to observe the charging process under the trough and to make a good record, so as to provide strong conditions for the rapid recovery of furnace condition and rapid production after opening.
