Price CenterDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Jun 9 (SMM) – China’s wholesale deliveries of new energy passenger vehicles rose 19.5% to 70,200 units in May from the previous month, according to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) released Monday.
The sales were 25.8% lower than the same month of 2019, compared to a 30% decline in April.
Among this, wholesale volumes of plug-in hybrid vehicles were 14,000 units last month, down 31% year on year, while the wholesale of pure electric cars fell 27% on the year to 56,000 units.
Tesla was the top-selling NEV brand in May.
