SHANGHAI, Apr 17 (SMM) – Inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port rebounded 3,000 mt from a week ago to 52,000 mt as of Friday April 17, due to reduced shipments from a warehouse at Tianjin port, showed SMM data.
Besides some small amounts of export trades under long-term contracts, trades under new orders were limited. Some orders for April-May delivery have been postponed to the second half of the year. The volumes of cargoes flowing in and out of each warehouse shrank significantly from a week ago.
