Daily crude steel output at CISA key mills fell in late-December

Daily crude steel output across CISA key mills averaged 1.88 million mt in the last 11 days of December

SHANGHAI, Jan 9 (SMM) – Daily crude steel output across China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) key mills averaged 1.88 million mt in the last 11 days of December, down 57,100 mt, or 2.94% from the December 11-20 period, according to the latest data from CISA.

As of December 31, inventories of steel products across those mills stood at 9.53 million mt, down 1.48 million mt or 13.41% from December 20.
