EU extends anti-dumping, countervailing duties on Chinese organic coated steel

Anti-dumping duties range from 0% to 26.1%, while the countervailing duties range from 13.7% to 44.7%

SHANGHAI, May 8 (SMM) – The European Commission on May 3 imposed definitive anti-dumping and countervailing duties on imports of certain coated steel products originating from China following an expiry review initiated in March 2018.

The anti-dumping duties could go up to 26.1%, while the countervailing duties range from 13.7% to 44.7%.

The initial anti-dumping investigation began in December 2011, while the original probe on anti-subsidy started in February 2012. Both investigations ended in June 2017.
