DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Dec 26 (SMM) – China's largest state aluminium producer Chinalco put one roasting furnace at the Guangxi branch into maintenance on Tuesday December 25.
Maintenance work will last 14 days, and affect total production of alumina by 20,000 mt.
The Guangxi branch has annual alumina capacity of 2.5 million mt. It operated at full capacity before the maintenance, SMM learned.
Separately, another alumina producer Tiandong Jinxin Chemical in Guangxi, conducted one-week maintenance work to its roasting furnaces on December 23. This is expected to affect alumina production by 16,000 mt.
