SHANGHAI, Aug 14 (SMM) – Some 63 vessels with 9.17 million mt of iron ore are expected to arrive at major Chinese ports during August 10-16, up 280,000 mt from 8.89 million mt during August 3-9, SMM data showed.
For the same period, volumes of iron ore departing Australian ports are likely to increase 920,000 mt to 16.04 million mt and those leaving Brazilian ports are likely to rise by 190,000 mt to 7.86 million mt.
While limited increase is expected in new deliveries during August 10-16, arrivals from Australia are likely to rise significantly at the end of August based on the departing volume.
