In Shanghai, most Tin deals were made at a favorably lower price. Few deals were made of expensive products.

SHANGHAI, Nov.7 (SMM) – Tin price in Shanghai mainly ranges from 141,800 yuan / tonne to 143,500 yuan / tonne. A fair number of deals are of Yun Tins at around 142,000 yuan / tonne, with a limited number of other Tin product deals. Yunnan Tin is 143,000-143,500 yuan / tonne, and other Yun Tins are 141,800-142,500 yuan / tonne. Supply of non-Yun Tins is rare. Most deals were made at a favorably lower price. Few deals were made of expensive products.

TrendForce stated that the two major wafer foundries, TSMC and Samsung Electronics, had increased prices for the most-traded advanced 5/4nm processes used for AI chips.
