SHANGHAI, Oct. 11 (SMM)-Macquarie analyst said on Oct.9th, as rise of sales of electric cars, rise of amount of metals needed for power batteries will drive appreciation prospect of lithium, cobalt, nickel and manganese in the long term. It is predicted that long-term price of metal lithium will rise from $7,000 per tonne to $9,000 per tonne, cobalt price will price from $16.5 per pound to $26 per pound and nickel price will rise from $13,000 per tonne to $17,500 per tonne.
