SHANGHAI, Sept. 18 (SMM) – Orders at domestic stainless steel mills show signs of slowing, Shanghai Metals Market learns.
One large mill in Fujian said its production schedule for current orders has been arranged to mid October, but orders are down significantly from the level seen in July and August, SMM learns.
One person of the company, who is familiar with the condition, told SMM that stainless steel sales have slowed down, and such condition is expected to be continuing, and the company will suspend NPI purchases in response.
