Spot trading in Shanghai zinc market was sluggish today despite lower SHFE zinc prices, SMM reported.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 13 (SMM) – Spot trading in Shanghai zinc market was sluggish today despite lower SHFE zinc prices, SMM reported.

SHFE October zinc plummeted in the morning session, and closed at 25,965 yuan per tonne.

Spot premiums were 280-500 yuan per tonne over SHFE October zinc.

LME Zinc Net Longs Decline to 2-Month Low
