Here’s Why European Stainless Steel Consumption Performs Better This Year, SMM Reports

SHANGHAI, Aug. 18 (SMM) - Stainless steel consumption in Europe is better in 2017 compared to years past, SMM understands.

Large stainless steel producer Aperam said it had signed finished-product sales orders for late November delivery as of mid-August, with orders one month more than the same period of years past. This is mainly because of improved demand from traditional consumption field.

The company’s stainless steel output is nearly 2 million tonnes per year. Orders at other European stainless steel producers are also better.
