Rebar and Wire Rod Inventories Fall for 4 Straight Weeks in Guangdong, SMM Reports

Rebar and wire rod inventories in major warehouses in Guangzhou decreased for 4 weeks in a row to 534,000 tonnes as of August 16, down 50,500 tonnes or 8.6% on a weekly basis, SMM data showed.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 17 (SMM) – Rebar and wire rod inventories in major warehouses in Guangzhou decreased for 4 weeks in a row to 534,000 tonnes as of August 16, down 50,500 tonnes or 8.6% on a weekly basis, SMM data showed.

China Shasteel Price Hike Far Beyond Expectations in August, SMM Reports

Rebar inventories were 378,400 tonnes, down 35,800 tonnes or 8.6% from last week.

Wire rod inventories declined 14,700 tonnes or 8.6% to 155,600 tonnes.
