SHANGHAI, Aug. 16 (SMM) – China’s National Development & Reform Commission (NDRC) and National Energy Administration are drafting a new policy to standardize captive power plants, promoting measures for governmental fund payment and cross-subsidization.
According to NDRC, installed capacity at China’s captive power plants totaled 142 million KW as of late 2016, up 16% YoY, accounting for 8.6% of overall power capacity in the country.
