Three Steel Plants in Handan Are Closed Down, Affecting 3 Mln Tonnes of Capacities

SHANGHAI, Aug. 16 (SMM) – It is learned that Guangyao Dongshan and Yunfeng steel plants should start output suspension on August 25 and finish on August 31.

SMM satisfied the news. Yunfeng steel plant has halted operation, while Guangyao and Dongshan steel plants remain normal production. The action is aimed for policy which encourages industrial enterprises to enter industrial parks from urban areas.

Operation suspension at those three plants slashing 3 million tonnes of steel capacity.
