SHANGHAI, Aug. 15 (SMM) – China launched inspections on eliminating works on “Ditiao steel” during August 13-17.

The inspections are aimed to avoid revival of “Ditiao steel” and new illegal steel capacities. “Ditiao steel”is a Chinese name for low-quality steel produced in intermediate frequency furnace with steel scrap as raw material, as well as rolled steel products produced with such steel as raw material.
