Zijin, Chihong Zinc in Shortfalls on Maintenance, SMM Reports

Spot discounts for regular #0 zinc expand 20 yuan per tonne in Shanghai market over September zinc on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) on August 4.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 4 (SMM) -Supplies of Zijin and Chihong #0 zinc were in deficit due to maintenance at smelters.

#0 zinc traded mainly in 23,470-23,660 yuan per tonne range in Shanghai on August 4. #0 zinc prices in Guangdong were 23,500-23,550 yuan per tonne and 23,700-24,570 yuan per tonne in Tianjin, SMM data showed.
