SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 80,110/mt today.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 25 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 80,110/mt today. In the afternoon, SHFE 1709 nickel touched RMB 81,260/mt, and closed at RMB 81,120/mt, up RMB 2,170/mt or 2.75%. Trading volumes on SHFE 1709 nickel increased 124,000 to 554,000, and positions increased 22,300 to 460,000. SHFE nickel is expected to hover at highs this evening.
