Zinc prices are expected to stay at high levels this week, SMM foresees.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 3 (SMM) – Zinc prices are expected to stay at high levels this week, SMM foresees.

LME zinc may move in the range of $2,710-2,810 per tonne this week, SMM predicts. SHFE August zinc, the most actively traded contract, will move between 22,400-23,200 yuan per tonne.

Chinese Zinc Smelters Hike Zinc Concentrate TCs, SMM Reports

Fundamentals will give support to zinc prices, SMM said. Spot goods supplies are still tight. And inventories continued falling.
