SHANGHAI, Apr. 11 (SMM) – SHFE 1705 zinc opened at RMB 21,680/mt today, and then fell to RMB 21,590/mt as shorts increased positions. In the afternoon, SHFE 1705 zinc edged down to RMB 21,320/mt and closed at RMB 21,325/mt, down RMB 770/mt or 3.48%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1705 zinc increased 205,000 to 763,000, and positions added 40,228 to 298,000. TSHFE 1705 zinc is expected to test support from RMB 21,000/mt this evening.
