SHANGHAI, Jun. 27 (SMM) – New shipments of high-grade nickel ore are expected in early July from Tawi-Tawi, the Philippines, Shanghai Metals Market learns.

China Sees Declines in Nickel Ore Inventories, SMM Reports

CIF for Ni 1.8% is likely to be offered at $ 47-48 per wmt based on current movements in the Ni 1.5% ore market.

Last week, CIF price for Ni 1.5% nickel ore was up $ 1 to $ 28-30 per wmt after high-grade NP advanced.

Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has officially released the benchmark mineral price (HMA) for the second half of August 2026.
