China Sees Declines in Nickel Ore Inventories, SMM Reports

Nickel ore inventories at seven major Chinese ports fell in the week ending June 23, Shanghai Metals Market data showed. 

SHANGHAI, Jun. 26 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories at seven major Chinese ports fell in the week ending June 23, Shanghai Metals Market data showed. 

Update of Antam Nickel Ore Export Quotas

Inventories at the seven ports were down 80,000 tonnes last week, according to SMM data. 

Last week, CIF price of medium-grade nickel ore moved higher with rallying price of stainless steel and demand growth. But, it is still a buyer’s market, and nickel ore market will still come under price pressure.
