SHANGHAI, May 15 (SMM) – China’s Li-ion battery production was 757 million in March 2017, up 45.3% YoY, and totaled 1.92 billion in the first three months of 2017, up 35.2% YoY, reported by cableabc.com.
China’s Li-ion battery market will reach 82.18GWH in 2017, with GAGR at 25% in next 3 years.
Production of mobile phone and E-vehicle grows rapidly in China, boosting Li-ion motive battery demand. Li-ion battery output growth thus has reversed to upward territory from continuous decline, and motive battery becomes the main driver behind development of Li-ion battery industry.
