SHANGHAI, Apr. 28 (SMM) - Global refined zinc supply will report 226,000 tonnes of deficit in 2017, the International Lead & Zinc Research Organization (ILZSG) said Thursday.
Global refined zinc demand is expected to rise 2.6% to 14.30 million tonnes in 2017, compared to a 3.1% growth in 2016.

Lead supply will be almost balanced in 2017. World’s lead ore production should increase 4.3% to 4.92 million tonnes in 2017. Refined lead output is expected to add 2.2% to 11.39 million tonnes.
