Weihai Imports 7,941 tonnes of Heavy Metal Concentrate in First Quarter

The Weihai port of Shandong Province imported 7941 tonnes of heavy metal concentrates worth $16.22 million in the first quarter of 2017, local paper reported.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 14 (SMM) - The Weihai port of Shandong Province imported 7941 tonnes of heavy metal concentrate worth $16.22 million in the first quarter of 2017, local paper reported.

Most of those shipments were lead concentrate and copper concentrate, mainly imported from Ecuador, Peru, Mexico and Iran.

Weihai has improved inspection efficiency and helped reduce logistics cost.
