SHFE Nickel Prices Up 0.22% (2017-4-11)

SHFE 1709 nickel started at RMB 84,800/mt and closed with price up RMB 190/mt or 0.22%.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 11 (SMM) – On Tuesday, SHFE 1709 nickel started at RMB 84,800/mt and advanced slightly thanks to the Philippines’ nickel downstream industry development plan. During the afternoon trading, the contract climbed to RMB 85,500/mt and closed with price up RMB 190/mt or 0.22%. Trading volumes were up 39,000 to 454,000 lots and positions were down 1,104 to 409,000.

SHFE 1709 nickel will test support at the 20-day moving average on Tuesday’s night trading.
