SHFE Issues Amendments to Lead Futures Contracts, SMM Reports

The Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) issued the Announcement on the Issuance of the Amendments to Copper Cathode, Aluminum, Zinc and Lead Futures Contracts.
SHANGHAI, Mar. 21 (SMM) - The Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) issued the Announcement on the Issuance of the Amendments to Copper Cathode, Aluminum, Zinc and Lead Futures Contracts.
The key amendment to lead futures contracts on the SHFE is to adjust delivery grade. Lead ingot, prescribed in the National Standard of GB/T 469-2005 Pb99.994, should not be delivered as standard warehouse warrant and warrants, which are formed in accordance with pre-revised standards, can be continued using for futures delivery. Lead ingot, prescribed in the National Standard of GB/T 469-2013 Pb99.994, will be used for futures delivery.
The amendment will come into effect September 20, 2017.
