SHANGHAI, Jan. 10 (SMM) – Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to diverge sharply on Tuesday, Shanghai Metals Market predicts.
“Eyes should be on speeches by hawkish Federal Reserve’s officials, and this will change sentiment in the dollar market, and base metals will diverge sharply,” SMM says.
Copper: 45,500-46,000 yuan per tonne
Aluminum: 12,500-12,700 yuan per tonne
Lead: 18,000-18,600 yuan per tonne
Zinc: 21,800-22,300 yuan per tonne
Tin: 153,000-155,500 yuan per tonne
Nickel: 85,800-87,800 yuan per tonne
