Xinjiang Adds 28.67 Mln Tonnes of Lead, Zinc Reserves from 2008

Xinjiang has made breakthroughs in mineral resources exploration from 2008 and added 28.67 million tonnes of lead and zinc Reserves, according to the Ministry of Land & Resources’ website.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 28 (SMM) - Xinjiang has made breakthroughs in mineral resources exploration from 2008 and added 28.67 million tonnes of lead and zinc Reserves, according to the Ministry of Land & Resources’ website.

Also, the province newly discovered 689.59 tonnes of gold reserves.

The province now ranks third in China as to lead and zinc and gold reserves. It has built 10 large and ultra-large resources exploration bases in China.
