Output of 10 Nonferrous Metals Grows 1.8% in Henan Jan.-Jul.

SHANGHAI, Sep. 14 (SMM) - Output of 10 nonferrous metals totaled 3.20 million tonnes in Henan Province during the first seven months of this year, up 1.8% year-on-year, local paper reported.

Henan’s output of 10 nonferrous metals represents 10.8% of national total. Growth in the province during January-July is 1.3 percentage points higher than domestic average pace.

Henan extricated itself from downshift in the nonferrous metals industry. Business revenue at the 864 large nonferrous metals companies rose 1.8% year-on-year to 319.81 billion yuan in the first half of the year, with profit up 2.4% year-on-year to 16.17 billion yuan.
