SHANGHAI, Feb. 6 (SMM) - China’s output of major nonferrous metals increased in 2016, according to cnmn.com.
Output of copper cathode, primary aluminum, lead and zinc was 8.44 million tonnes, 31.87 million tonnes, 4.67 million tonnes and 6.27 million tonnes, respectively, in 2016, up 6.0%, 1.3%, 5.7% and 2.0% year-on-year.
Output of eight concentrates – copper concentrate, lead concentrate, zinc concentrate, nickel concentrate, tin concentrate, antimony concentrate, tungsten concentrate (tungsten trioxide 65%), and molybdenum concentrate (45%) was 1.85 million tonnes, 2.23 million tonnes, 4.63 million tonnes, 90,000 tonnes, 97,000 tonnes, 108,000 tonnes, 140,000 tonnes and 287,000 tonnes, respectively.
