SHANGHAI, Jul. 19 (SMM) – China’s production of ten types of nonferrous metals posted declines in June this year, based on the latest news released by China’s National Statistics Bureau on July 15.
The production came in at 4.43 million tonnes in June, a year-on-year drop of 1.2%. And total production was 25,12 million tonnes during the first half of 2016, growing 0.1% on the yearly basis.
The news also disclosed that primary aluminum output was 2.69 million tonnes in June, down 2.4% YoY and YTD production through June was 15.32 million tonnes, falling 1.9% YoY.
