SHFE Nickel Ends with Large Gains (Jul. 12 , 2016)

SHFE 1609 nickel challenged RMB 80,000/mt after opening Monday night session at RMB 79,450/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 12 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 nickel challenged RMB 80,000/mt after opening Monday night session at RMB 79,450/mt. The contract ranged RMB 79,000-79,600/mt and ended the session at RMB 79,270/mt.

SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 79,140/mt on Tuesday and fluctuated around RMB 80,000/mt. In the afternoon business, the contract lurched up to RMB 81,400/mt thanks to gains in ferrous metal prices and closed up 3.79% at RMB 81,160/mt. Trading volumes slipped 98,000 to 1.1 million lots and positions were up 24,000 to 496,000.

SHFE 1609 nickel will grow further tonight with positive technical indicators.
