SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 75,700/mt last night, and then grew to daily upward limit of RMB 79,240/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 4 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 75,700/mt last night, and then grew to daily upward limit of RMB 79,240/mt, to end at RMB 78,840/mt. Trading volumes jumped 275,000 to 795,000 and positions grew 46,384 to 540,000.

SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 78,780/mt on Monday and maintained at RMB 79,240/mt. The contract closed up 5.99%. Trading volumes fell 573,000 to 222,000 lots and positions were up 12,342 to 552,000.

SHFE 1609 nickel should move higher this evening.
